That's fantastic. I have no idea why people seem to think realistic fights are boring to watch - if that was the case, boxing in-whatever-guise-you-call-it would never be a thing, nor would anything else, for the matter.

Yeah there has been a debate about that forever in movies - WITHIN the HEMA and sword-collector scenes, and most of them always argue against realism. Probably because they think realism is like some SCA bullshit that a lot of people used to do. We are starting to see some HEMA people involved with shows though already and probably some movies. i know some guys working on Vikings like i said even if I never hear from them any more
