Some photos from the Boston event so far.

Today I won 4 matches and lost 3, but 2 of my losses were to Axel Petterson who is one of the top 5 fencers in the world and probably going to win this one.

His only real competition is from another European, a guy from Slovakia. There are also a couple of Americans who could give him trouble, but I'm not one of them.

It's from the first issue of the Acta Periodica Duelletorum, (which I also had an article in, incidentally)

It's from an article by Pierre Henri Bas about remission letters from France and Burgundy in the 15th Century, he did some analysis of various patterns of the incidents, including the one I posted, which I was just hosting here to post on FB in a discussion about tournaments with some HEMA people.
