I thought maybe it was something for your new wound system.

It looks like they need a proofreader. I suppose the journal is a volunteer effort?

No, actually it's a peer reviewed academic journal out of Hungary, but the guy who wrote that article is French and his English isn't that great. I think they included it anyway because the data is so valuable.

It is useful information for the wound system though. I need to get back to that, right now really concentrating on the character generation book which is now up to 64 pages. Too many irons in the fire as usual.

I think I posted earlier somewhere in this forum that he had also done some analysis (on a real small sample though, just a few hundred incidents) of which weapon was used by the 'winner' in a lot of these fights... the halberd turns out to be the deadliest, followed by the spear, then (nearly tied) the dagger and the sword, and then the saber, and then the hammer or mace. Some weapons were better against others. Unfortunately they don't distinguish between types of swords.
