Statistics and the Martial Pool

Postby Galloglaich » Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:31 pm

inspired by this thread on The Forge I made a computer program to test the odds / stats on using the "roll many keep one" system with the Martial Pool, by the Monte Carlo metho of rolling the dice thousands of times and averaging the results. The results are very interesting, I'll post them here later, hopefully tonight.

These images are too small to make out. Can you post larger ones, please?

I would be very interested in seeing these results.

thanks,

EDIT: I cropped the images which makes them easier to read now, hopefully.

I don't remember much about this experiment but I think these were test runs "Monte Carlo" style, 5,000 die rolls with different combinations.
