Ya, so the prep dice are what I was talking about doing without. And yes you would need arrows in hand, it would pretty much allow you to use a bow as if it was a set of throwing weapons (speed wise). Also it would only work on 1 prep bows, thus no warbows.

Isn't that just 'Rapid Shot' and 'Improved Rapid Shot'? At least in the 3.5e version?

Hell, I'd just make Rapid Shot, "You make an extra attack whenever you attack with a ranged weapon." No penalty, can do it with a standard action. Just like I'd combine Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot. Ranged feats in 3.Xe are super-weak...

I think there needs to be a limit of how many shots you get with this (i.e. how many you hold in your other hand) and I also suspect the shots are weaker - but the rate is obviously very high and the accuracy doesn't suffer too much at short range.

I removed it from my game, it was wayyyyy too broken. It would need to be seriously nerfed if you want it.
